Soccer Scholar 2 – 2 Portsmouth Dev Squad U18

On Wednesday April 6th, Soccer Scholar welcomed the Portsmouth FC u18 Development Squad to play a friendly match and set the foundations for a friendship moving forward. Although the weather was not great, the attitude and football on display was excellent.

Soccer Scholar welcomed over 18 new recruits down to Charlestown and many had their chance to shine. Some of the successful Memphis squad also made and appearance and it was two of them who scored (Ross Murray & Conor Hannon) in a 2 – 2 draw. After the game the Pompey squad retired back to the Deputy Mayor Bar where food was provided courtesy of Declan Lyons. A big thank you also must go to Stephen Carroll at McKelvey FC for hosting the game.
